FC Trollhättan 0 - 2 Syrianska FC

Trollhättan - The SFC-train continues to roll on as Syrianska FC beat FC Trollhättan on Monday night after two goals by the Nigerian striker Peter Ijeh.

Syrianska FC came out firing on all cylinders and had FC Trollhättan on the back foot with less than a half minute on the clock when Peter Ijehs ran through the Trollhättan defenders to power home a diagonal right-foot effort in off the far post. Peter Ijeh gave the Suryoye a dream start in the opening minute with his ninth goal in for the season.

The rest of the half belonged to Syrianska FC, forcing Trollhättan to hunt the ball from the Syrianska players. Saleh, Massi and Felic had a couple of shots off target. Even FC Trollhättan had a great chance to equalise but Skölds shot went wide. Trollhättan's difficult task to beat Syrianska FC that hadn't lost a game in eleven matches was made even harder five minutes from the half time when Mohammadian was given his marching orders for a red card after a ugly foul on Abgar Barsom.

The second half started with a massive press from Syrianska FC. The Suryoye looked eagerly to get a second goal to close the game but Ijeh and Salehs efforts were well saved by Rickard Johansson. Agon Beqiri saw his thunderful shot being saved by Dwayne Miller in the Syrianska goal.

In the 77th minute Melkemichel brought in Nahir Oyal instead of Saleh. Nahir, who made the spectacular goal last week from 35 m, had his second appearance for this season. Peter Ijeh made his second goal for this evening and 10th goal for this season just seven minutes from full time. It was a low effort from outside the box. The shot went close to the right post and past Johansson. Johansson had no chance from preventing the ball reaching the net.

The Suryoye were in complete control for the rest of the game as this encounter was starting to look like a training session. FC Trollhättan had a chance to score a consolation goal with a quarter to the final whistle, but Miller easily claimed a meek effort from the left-hand side of the penalty box. There were no more goals for either side and the match ended with Syrianska FC winning two to nil.
