Södertälje - Peter Ijeh and Nahir Oyal scored in the second half as Syrianska FC reclaimed the second place ahead of next Sunday's Södertälje derby. Syrianska FC lived up to expectations as they beat IFK Norrköping at Södertälje Fotbollsarena. But the Suryoye will have to reflect over their performance in what it was an extremely tight encounter. IFK Norrköping may feel they deserved a point out of this entertaining clash. IFK Norrköping had a really good start to the game and put plenty of pressure on Syrianska FC. Peking’s pressing seemed to be working well and led to several interceptions. Norrköping looked determined but Syrianska’s goalkeeper, Miller, prevented them from becoming a real threat. Syrianska FC tried to come forward, still Peking had most of the ball possession. Telo missed a good opportunity following a cross from Bemberg. Even Bemberg had a a good chance but Miller had no difficulties grabbing his shot. The second half started off at great speed, with Hasani once again skipping past a confused defense. Miller was forced to rush out but the shot went wide. IFK Norrköping looked very confident in the second half but Syrianska FC nearly caught them on the counter. Massi fired a shot that was saved by Westberg in the Peking goal. Syrianska FC kept on pushing: Saleh did everything right as he skipped past two and crossed it to Peter Ijeh, whose effort was far from impressive. Melkemichel took off Massi for Nahir Oyal to the right in order to stop an incredibly inspired Bemberg, the move worked well. In the 88th min Syrianska FC got a free kick in the left side of the penalty box. Denis Velic fired the free kick straight at goal. The shot seemed as a cross and was extremely near to lob over Westberg, but with his fingers on the ball it unfortunate landed on crossbar instead of goal. In the following minute the ball bounced to Saleh (after hitting the crossbar) who entered the box at full speed and went down, the referee awarded Syrianska FC a penalty. Peter Ijeh stepped up and sent Westberg the wrong way. The whole crowd went crazy of joy. The game had not come to an end. Five minutes in deep added time Nahir Oyal came free with the goalkeeper and finished with a lob when Westeberg rushed out of the box and 2-0 was a fact. Syrianska FC has not lost in 13 games and this victory makes it only three points from the top spot with five games left of this season. Syrianska FC 2-0 IFK Norrköping (HT: 0-0) Text: Emanuel Yacoub
