Ängelholms FF 0 - 0 Syrianska FC

Ängelholm - Syrianska FC were held 0-0 as Ängelholm FF gave Melkemichel's side a hard game at Valhalla.

An entertaining encounter saw the woodwork hit two times and some exciting counter-attacking play, but its points that count and the Suryoye, who move one point clear of Landskrona at the third place, will regard this one as a valuable away result.

Ängelholm made a strong start in front of their home fans and Robin Staaf fired a warning in the 10th minute. Skenderovic made a clearance from Lindhs's inswinging cross and Ijeh hit the poster as the ball rolled in the goal line but the Ängelholm could clear it as they timed the challenge perfectly. No Syrianska players were there to stab the ball in.

Staaf rifled into the side-netting and smacked a crisp shot wide before Millers amazing save from Nilsson as the Ängelholm players created plenty of first-half chances. Syrianska FC went close on the half-hour when Ijehs well-taken right-foot shot from the edge of the area was saved by Andersson.

Syrianska FC threatened Anderssons goal in an attacking start to the second half, the Ängelholm keeper saving Ijehs crisp effort from edge of the box before seeing Barsom and Demir shooting wide.

Ängelholm took over the remainder of the game in terms of chances and were left ruing a series of misses. Miller narrowed the angle well to thwart Dahlgren who diverted a cross-shot on target. Dahlgren then rattled the post with a low effort from and the Swede blazed his follow-up over with the goal gaping.

It seemed that both teams were happy with earning a point as they did not look interested in the last minutes of the game.
