Trelleborgs FF 0-1 Syrianska FC

TRELLEBORG – Syrianska FC edged out Trelleborgs FF at Vångavallen to join Mjällby on eleven points.

Dinko Felic was the hero of the day again for Melkemichel's side, his second goal of the season coming 25 minutes before the break.

Syrianska FC welcomed back Ivan Ristic after suspension, with Durmaz, Jawo and Demir in defence and supported by Bååth and Barsom as defensive midfielders. Frealdsson was guarding the goal instead of Miller as he is in an international duty for Jamaica. For the second game in a row Dinko Felic started as a lonely striker as Peter Ijeh still is suspended for the elbow against Falkenbergs FF in the Swedish Cup.

The Bosnian silenced the crowd on 20 minutes, controlling Ristic's pass and sidestepping a Trelleborg defender before crashing a delightful right-footed shot beyond Victor Noring.

Sharbel Touma had a curling shot parried by Noring and Jawo towered above the Trelleborg defence to head straight at Noring as Syrianska FC created several good chances to increase their lead. Even Saleh had a free kick sailed towards the top corner but in the last second Noring made a vital save.

But the hosts wasted their best opportunities and Frealdsson made an easy close-range save from Pode after cross-shot took a deflection off Fistik Shala.

Obi Etie replaced Imad Zatara, while Erkan Saglik came for Saleh minutes before full time.

Trelleborg's search for a leveller was relentless and Frealdsson made two quick saves in quick succession from Trelleborg in time added. Syrianska FC took their first three points as guests and managed to keep the score sheet clean for first time this season in a away game.
