Degerfors IF 0-0 Syrianska FC

Melkemichel's side, last held to a goalless draw in the league was by Ängelholm on 09 may 2010.
Melkemichel made only one change to the winning team against Väsby IK last week, Dinko Felic came in instead of Peter Ijeh.

The game started quite calm but the hosts took the early initiative and tried to force Syrianska FC to play after their melody. After a couple of corners to each side, Degerfors midfielder Ante came from the left side and send the ball to Erik Nilsson, who sends a shot just over the bar. A corner was given to the home team and Solberg hits at volley that forces Dwayne Miller in the Syrianska goal to make a terrific save. Just four minutes earlier Rabi Elia saw his bicycle kick hit the far post.
A ten-minute period of Syrianska FC pressure ensued with an alert Sebastian in the Degerfors goal stopping the “Suryoye“ effectively. Hagernäs had a left-foot effort from 25 yards saved by the Degerfors keeper and even Dinkos header did not pas Sebastian.
Both keepers saw their fair share of the action in the second half. Sebastian was quick off his mark to beat Zatara to Hagernäs's intuitive through ball. Miller made a stunning reflex save to keep out Samuelssons's close range effort.

With time running out Melkemichel introduced Saleh for Massi and switched to a 3-4-3 formation but there was no way through as a resilient Degerfors IF defence held tight, with Sebastian keeping out attempts from the Aramaic eagles.

The last fifteen minutes belonged to Degerfors IF. The host had a couple of free kicks and corners the last minutes but Dwayne Miller stood in the way. The Jamaican made crucial saves from Henriksson as Degerfors pushed for a winner in deep added time.

In the absolute last minute Syrianska FC got a freekick. Saleh tried to put the ball in the right corner and could almost give Syrianska FC the lead but Sebastian read the move well and tipped the ball behind the bar.
