Syrianska FC 4-0 Falkenbergs FF

Syrianska FC produced a dominant display to thrash Falkenbergs FF with 4-0 at Södertälje Fotbollsarena.

Melkemichel made numerous changes to the team that was held by Örgryte last week, handing Saleh his first start since returning from injury in his customary right-wing role and pushing Özdemirok into a left-back position while Demir as a right-back. Ijeh started in front of Hagernäs in attack while Miller was once again garding the goal after the suspension he got from the game against Landskrona.

The first chance of the game came after three minutes when Saleh tested Lukic with a right-foot shot from the edge of the area. Falkenberg replied through Rodevåg, whose low 25-m effort was well saved by Miller.

In the 27th min, Saleh came from the right and sent a cross into the penalty box. Ijeh rose at the back post and headed home Syrianska FC’s first goal for the evening. After the goal the Aramean eagles took over the whole show and forced Falkenberg to run around field and try to catch the ball. The second goal came just before the break and was identical to the first one but this time Hagernäs headed home from Salehs cross, a psychological disadvantage for the guests.

In the second half Syrianska FC continued their pressuring and in the 53rd min the ball landed along Ijehs feets, inside the penalty box. He struggled to get a clear shot and gave the ball to Hagernäs. After some own struggling with the ball, Hagernäs found a small target and sent the ball past Lukic.

After Syrianskas third goal the pressure took off and the only team who looked interested in playing was Falkenberg. Desperate to score a goal to come back into the game. Desperate or not, Miller in the Syrianska goal was in no mood letting in any goals this evening. Blocking shots from every angle.

In added time the newly brought in, Kanga closed the game with Syrianskas fourth goal after being served by Vunk.
