Syrianska FC 3-1 Mjällby AIF

SÖDERTÄLJE - Syrianska FC added a fourth win to the collection on Friday night, outplaying Mjällby AIF at Södertälje fotbollsarena.

David Löfquist put the visitors in front, but Imad Zatara equalised just before the break and Peter Ijeh added a second, while Erkan Saglik made his first goal for Syrianska FC to ensure the Suryoye continues to be a strong team at home.

The SFC coach named a whole different starting lineup that lost to Djurgårdens IF in the midweek. Melkemichel chose to make some changes to Syrianskas starting line-up in order to face Mjällby, placing Elia together with Ristic in central defence, along with Ahmed and Perreira as the full-backs (Durmaz was out with injury and Demir suspended). Bååth was not in the squad today, and Touma was chosen to play behind Ijeh. Meanwhile, Dinko Felic had a more defensive roll on the midfield together with Barsom, recently returning from suspension.

There was no lack of excitement for the 1,500 crowd, with plenty of chances for both sides in a busy opening period before David Löfquist broke the deadlock on 7 minutes. Mjällby got a perfect freekick just outside the box but the shout went straight at a Mjällby player and returned back to David who could easily see that Miller went to the right and arrowed his first-time shot into the bottom left side, in off the hand of Miller.

Imad Zatara restored parity two minutes before the break. Dinko Felic passed back to Zatara, allowing for the Palestinian to steal in and head past Asper in the Mjällby goal. In a phsycological point of view a very important goal.
Syrianska edged in front with fiftheen minutes after the break when Peter Ijeh stole in to slot home Ristic's cross from the right. He ran past the two central defenders, chesting down the ball and fired a powerful shot past Asper through woodwork and into the net.

Erkan Saglik newly susbstituted delivered also three minutes from the end, firing in from clos range Barsoms freekick.
