Borlänge - Syrianska FC returned from Borlänge with no-point after losing 2-1 to IK Brage at the stadium Domnarsvallen. Malmström opened the scoring after half time, The Aramaic eagles equalised through Obie Etie but in the closing minutes Åkervall added a second goal for IK Brage and slotted home three points for the home team. Spurred on by a full house, IK Brage took the game to Syrianska FC but produced few clear-cut chances on goal in the opening forty-five, with Miller largely untroubled before his parry from Jon Åslund's flicked freekick on the stroke of half time. In the second half Syrianska FC increased the temperature for IK Brages goalkeeper Gerhard Andersson but he kept his nerves and made some good saves. Something had to give, but incredibly it gave in front of the Syrianska FC goal. The ball gained a fortuitous bounce and touched the round the advancing Miller, as Malmström push the ball into the empty net. This meant that the home team had taken a 1-0 lead on 75 minutes. Obie Etie went to a leveller right before the end of the game, his header rattling the underside of the crossbar and into the goal. This was his first goal in the Suryoyo dress. Deep in stoppage time as so many times before this season the Suryoye got a goal behind. Jevtushenkos cross from the right side was headed by Daniel Åkervall. The ball was unreachable for Miller and the score sheet showed us 2-1. This was the third time this season that Syrianska FC lost points in deep added time. The Syrianska FC coach Melkemichel has something to figure out. IK Brage 2-1 Syrianska FC (HT: 0-0) Text: Emanuel Yacoub
