Syrianska FC 1-1 Landskrona BoIS

Södertälje - Syrianska FC played 1-1 against Landskrona BoIS as Syrianska FC got the fourth penalty for the season against them.

Syrianska FC started the game best and it seemed that this evening the "Suryoye" would get all three points. Massi was fast and alert as I recognized him as the player he was last season. The first 20 min Landskrona had nothing to bring to the table to threat Syrianska FC with.

The breakthrough for Landskrona BoIS came in the 24th min when a long range ball reached Rabi Elia who tried to head the ball back to Miller instead the ball went to Landskrona BoIS striker Fredrik Olsson who sent a shot just outside the post but just before Olsson sends the shot he was fouled by Miller, who saw straight the red card. Fredrik Karlsson stepped up to the penalty spot and saw Frealdsson fly the right way, but could not stop the blast shot despite touching the ball with his right hand.

Syrianska FC started as a new team after the goal and rest of the first half, all guns were blazing but the first chance fell to Dinko Felic whose curling shot missed by a matter of inches. Massi volleyed narrowly wide and Peter Karlsson in the Landskrona goal made a splendid tipped save from Suleyman as the home team continued their search for a goal despite one man less.

The second half started and Melkemichel brought in Peter Ijeh instead of Massi. The new-look Syrianska FC gave an early sign of their attacking potential when Ijeh's fierce shot forced a difficult parry from Karlsson after a one-two with Felic. The Nigerian striker would get his chance when Felic brought down a long range ball as many times before, sends it to Skenderovic on the left side, who sends a inch-perfect pass over the Landskrona defence and sets Peter Ijeh free with Karlsson. Ijeh shows his coldness as he waits until the keeper goes down and blasts the ball into the net and Syrianska FC had equalised.

Syrianska FC were immediately more effective in attack, Ijeh continued to be a problem for the Landskrona BoIS defence. Barsom missed by an inch with a high free kick that failed to divert beyond Karlsson, and Hagernäs blazed a low effort narrowly wide after a pass from Velic. Even Landskrona had their chances to take the lead after a couple of saves from Frealdsson. The Swede made a vital block from Olsson after a brilliant through ball by Zaim. He showed his awareness again minutes later, beating Olsson once more.

The home side had two late chances to snatch all three points, with Ijeh sending a low shot just straight at Karlsson before Barsom blazed over the bar when it would have been easier to pass. No more goals were to come as the game ended 1-1, despite the "Suryoye" played one man short from the early first half.
