Sierra Leone national for Syrianska
Syrianska agreed on a contract with Sierra Leone striker Mohamed Kabia from East End Lions: - It´s a good opportunity for me to play in the highest Swedish league, Kabia says.
Mohamed Kabia made a spectacular career in Sweden advancing from the third league to Allsvenskan in only a feew weeks. Last sunday he played 30 minutes for Motala and three days later he´s on a contract with Syrianska, currently 15:th in Allsvenskan. Up coming sunday he will be available against Elfsbrog, 2:nd in Allsvenskan:
- It feels good and this is a nice opportunity for me, Mohamed comments on the signing.
Scoring champion
22 year old Mohamed has 16 caps for Sierra Leone and has scored 8 goals. 2009/10 season he won the scoring title in Sierra Leone with 19 goals at East End Lions. Kabia is a big striker who is compared with Chelsea forward Didier Drogba. In Syrianska he will compete with Peter Ijeh on a spot in front:
- I know of Peter, it´s a good player and i like him for that, Kabia says.
3,5 year contract
Kabia has agreed on a 3,5 year contract. Syrianska chairman Andreas Temiz is happy about Kabia and thinks of him as a signing for the future:
- He is a hungry player, runs a lot, good with the ball and very fast. It will be interesting to see what he can do here.
